LOCATION AND VENUE

Set in the village of Dent among the hills and dales of Cumbria, the Meditation Centre is within easy reach of the M6, and the nearest main line station is Oxenholme, The Lake District. Dent Station is four miles east of the village on the Leeds-Carlisle line.

The Meditation Centre is a place of inspiration and beauty where the qualities of timelessness and stillness can be directly experienced. The building, which originally was a chapel, has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund. There is a larger room for activities such as yoga, tai chi and dance and a meditation room that is used for teaching and personal practice.
