The Meditation Centre is a meditation retreat which can be hired out for appropriate activities. Private groups and businesses recognize this place inspires new ideas and creative vision, and individuals hire it for special occasions such as wedding blessings. It is also highly suitable for yoga and tai chi.

The Meditation Centre

The Meditation Centre comprise a large meditation hall, a smaller meditation room called The Schoolroom – which was the original Meditation Centre – a mezzanine floor with small teaching room, a kitchen and washrooms including disabled facilities.

The Schoolroom

The Schoolroom has a fitted carpet with seven chairs that are ideal for meditation. Fresh flowers are arranged in each room.

Yoga Facilities

The Centre is an ideal place to practice yoga and popular with yoga groups organising their own weekend retreats or training in Dent. We have 24 yoga blocks and blankets to borrow but we now ask people to bring their own yoga mats. Mats can however still be provided if needed.
